A Big Thank You to our local Les Schwab Tire Centers.
Their branch managers got together and donated to our McQueen High School Lancer Band at the most needed &
perfect time. Their VERY generous and timely donation helped our students attend
The 125th Tournament of Roses and also kept costs down for our Band Parent Association.

Hotel Accommodations for Extravaganza Judges

DEW Foundation

  • In Fall of 2018 the DEW Foundation granted McQueen Band with $6,000 to buy new chimes and bells
  • In the spring of 2019 the DEW Foundation granted McQueen Band with $30,000 to put in new instrument lockers
  • Spring 2020— they have granted us an additional 30,000 to replace the percussion cabinets!

Nell J. Redfield Foundation

The Nell J. Redfield Foundation is pleased to support the Robert McQueen High School Band.

In an ongoing effort to support education, The Nell J. Redfield Foundation has awarded Robert McQueen Lancer Band a very generous grant for the purchase of FOUR new tenor saxophones and TWO new piccolos for our band. Previously, The Nell J. Redfield Foundation awarded us with a grant to purchase sousaphones, baritones, mellophones, french horns, trumpets, saxophones. trombones, euphoniums, and tuba.
