Rick Moffit has been the Director of Bands at Robert McQueen High School for nearly two decades. His commitment to the program, dedication to students, and musicianship have been at the heart of growing the band program and guiding so many students through their high school years. His leadership also resulted in 15 state marching band championships in addition to numerous other wind ensembles, concert band, jazz, winter guard and drum line awards and accolades his performing groups received during his tenure. Rick will be leaving McQueen High School in July and transitioning to his new role as a band director for sixth-grade students in the Washoe County School District.
