About our Band Programs
Nathan Williams, Band Director
The McQueen Band Program was established in the Fall of 1982 with the opening of McQueen High School.
The Program is dedicated to excellence in musical performance as well as the social enrichment of our students. Furthermore, it is committed to its continuing quest to empower students to be excellent in the principles of individual and group achievement.
Our band program is comprised of various ensembles that perform and compete at local, regional & state levels.
Under the guidance of Director Mr. Williams, these programs offer students a comprehensive educational experience through music, performance, life lessons and opportunities that extend beyond a traditional classroom.
It is no surprise, that with the combination of a well balanced program and the students achievements, McQueen Band Programs continues to be a positive influence on hundreds of high school students year after year.
