Description of Committee-Throughout the year we
have a need for food service at competitions, fundraising events, bake sales, or
just providing a treat for students after a game or competition.

helped feed the students during Marching Band Competitions!

Description of Committee-Assigns uniforms,
maintains uniforms, checks out and in uniforms before and after
games/competitions, helps organize uniform room.

Also...Concert
dresses will be in 12/10/07. The company did not have any
dresses in stock so they needed to make them. Due to this delay the timing
from the arrival of the dresses to the first performance will be very tight.
You daughter will be given the dress as soon as we receive them.
The dresses will need to be hemmed. Please
hem them with your daughter wearing closed toe, low heel, back shoes. If
you or a family member does not know how to sew there will be instructions
inside the dress on how to contact somebody on the uniform committee to do the
hemming for you. We hope that most families will be able to hem their own
child's dress because the volunteers will not have much time.

Description of Committee - Prop/equipment building,
maintenance, painting, and general repair, assist our truck
driver in loading and unloading of band props and equipment, transportation, and
setup at football, games, concerts and competitions.

information out quickly to parents and collect data for leadership.

Description of Committee-Photograph/Video

Audit Committee

Description of Committee-Consists
of three (3) voting members (excluding officers) once a year to audit all
accounts in July, to be completed by the regular meeting
in August. This committee may
be called by the voting membership to do an additional audit at any time.
Water Wagon Committee

to students at performances, games, competitions, and practice sessions if
needed.

Description of Committee-Searching for and
applying for grants for McQ Band and/or McQ Band Parents Association.
PARENTS Does your employer have a
Grant Program? They might...and if they do McQueen Band could
benefit! It is a fact that UPS, Wal-Mart, and many, many other
companies offer grants to organizations in need. PLEASE check it
out today and let our Grant Committee know ASAP!
We
are encouraging everyone to
become a 2007/2008 Member of the McQueen Band Parents Association. Becoming a member does not obligate you to anything. It only ensures that
you are supporting a very worthwhile organization. The annual fee is
$10.00 per year per person or $15.00 per household. This covers the cost of the postage and paper for the monthly
newsletter.
